We don't use harmful solvent inks and we recycle everything we can producing minimal waste as a business.
Our Inks & Printers
We print all our wallpaper on Epson Large Format Printers. This is because they offer the best image quality and definition, as well as the best Environmental Inks. Epson Ultrachrome Inks use no harmful solvents and do not give off any harmful gases. Solvent Prints actually continue to "gas off" after installation. This is why solvent printed wallpapers are not approved for use in public places such as schools or hospitals. So why would you want that problem in your house or office? Our inks give off no smell, and have no harmful effect on the environment. ESPON even run a cartridge re-cycling scheme which we are involved with. So all empty cartridges are taken away by Epson themselves to be re-cycled.
On top of that, our printing process and inks offer many other advantages that make our wallpaper of the highest standard. These include the 1440dpi Superfine Print Quality that epson printers offer, and superior Lightfastness. Prints last in display conditions without fading for up to 75 years in colour and over 100 years in black and white. So you dont need to worry about your wallpaper fading after a year or two, unlike most solvent prints. Also, we offer epsons unique black and white photo advanced printing process which outputs stunning pure black and white photo prints unlike most solvents that can have a green type hue to the black and white tone in comparison.
You might wonder why the solvent process would be used. It is primarily a signage printing process and is well suited to it, being very hardwaring and cheap to print. When it comes to wallpapers in the home, office or public place, we believe that extra quality/cost is important and makes all the difference in the end product.
